looks nice, but i don't see nothing that looks like the "classic" corrado, seen from it looks, it's gonna cost a lot, but maybe this one will be a succes because theire will be not as much probs as with the G60.
i think that our corrado's looks much better. and they are rare too. i wouldt want to trade my c. for one of this new "corrado's".

1993 Corrado 2.9 VR6

It's a logical design if you look at the new VW style (chrome grill) of the 21 century. I must confess it's a perfectly designed sports coupe, although it is not a Corrado as we know it today. It just appears to be one. Because VW doens't have a large history of sports coupes therefor it must be the new successor of the Corrado or Scirocco if you like. And as a fan of the Corrado, I wish they want call it a Corrado. Just like they didn't named the Corrado after the Scirocco and put the nameplate Scirocco II. I hope when VW introducess the car in 2008 they understand that the VW Corrado 1988-1995 was a unique car, that can't replaced just by making a new car and take away this name and put it on the newly build car. Therefor I wish they choose the other option and give it a hole new name and thereby making it another unique car all by itself. Perhaps we could held a questionaire among our Corrado fans on this website about the idea for not refering the name Corrado in the newly introduced car of VW, but giving it it's new indentity in a hole new name. And give those results as a tribute to our Corrado and suggestions to the Board of VW to change there idea's of using the name Corrado again. Perhaps there are suggestions to make for a name. And of course it must refer to a kind of wind or breeze just like Golf, Passat, Jetta, Scirocco and Corrado did. I'm not that good at geography but there must be some good options left. I found a couple in an encylopedia: baguio, blizzard, chinook, buran, etesian, foehn, harmattan, khamsin, mistral, monsoon, simoom, squall, tramontana, typhoon, zephyr. Let me know what you think of this idea. I find the name zephyr a pretty alternative. Greetz Johan

Scirado maybe a very good alternative. It sounds very nice and it's a bit of eyewink to his older brothers. Now we only have to convince the Board of VW.
