1992 Corrado 2.8 VR6 SLC

Im installing the DDI illuminated guages, has anybody done it? Im in the middle of it and dont know what the fuck I am doing, please help! Thanks.

1993 Corrado 2.9 VR6

take out the cluster and open it. unscrew the 2 screws left and right side of the cluster.



remove the black bezel. now remove the needles by using a fork like its shown in the pic: the tacho needle couldnt get off so easy as the other ones.



unscrew the screws in the red and yellow circle.



remove stock gauges and put in the ddi gauges.



on some cluster you will needto drill a hole to get out the wire.



place the inverter behind the cluster



and connect the wire on the headlight switch.



red on gray/blue wire



black on body

Thats it!

how did you replaced the needles, do you now have a difference in the speedometer in speed, did you put it back on zero or some other way?

thats a realy a problem. you need to set the speedo-needle back to 0. another prob is the ddi gauges dont have
a bridge/stopper (where the needle is laying on when engine is off). that makes it even more difficult.
i had to replace the needle 3x to get the right readout.

yes, i was wondering where the stopper went, too bad, well nothing to do but to try it I guess.
