Thats not quite easy. You need to change
and modify all the wire harness. You also need a new frame for radio and switchers / heater panel. Also have some work on Bowden cable of
heater a/c panel....
like i said before ... swap is not easy ...

good luck ....

Up please...
Almost have all the parts needed...missing the dash wiring and round heater controls (non A/C LHD)
Anyone has anything of the above for sale or can help with some info or a step-by-step guide
Do I need a 2.0 16V 9A dash wiring or will a VR6 one do the job?

my brother did this for me, he found the swap not to hard,

i bought 2 cables for operating the heat radiator and a the electrical connectors, my brother took care of the installation (replugging the connectors on the old type electrical cables)

its just looking at the numbers of the cables and of the numbers of the connectors.

I pressume you added a speed sensor (VSS) in order to fit the late-spec digital cluster right?
How about the dash wiring, you know if I can use a VR6 one or must I get one from an 2.0 16V Corrado (since I'm still 4 cyl)?

I was from a G60/TDI 4 cyl converted to a 6 cil dash, but since it was a TDI engine, i already had a double digital cockpit.

the rest of the dash is not a engine related connection as far as i know, so it doens't matter ?

Hmm, that's interesting...VR6 wiring harness is easier to find rather than one from a 2.0 16V Corrado
