Information / Adjustments : Gone! Yes in a puff of smoke and fire! As best as we can determine, the fuel hose split between the injector rail and the hard plastic fuel line.
My son was driving the car at the time when it went up in flames. He ran over to a gas station to get a fire extinguisher, but the attendant didn't speak English, and my son didn't speak Spanish. It took the Tampa Fire Department, 10 minutes to respond, by then the hood and front fenders were scorched and deformed, the engine compartment was a mess, even the supercharger's aluminum casing was deformed!
Very sad!
Wishlist : I have heard rumors that someone bought it at the insurance company's auction and repaired it. Just before the fire, I had replaced the rear hatch with a black one, which did give it a distinctive look. So it may still be in the Tampa Bay area.
