How's it goin guys?I'm new here and I just bought a 2L 16V corrado and discovered the ac is'nt working very well and on these cold mornings it's a bit of a bitch,I had the same problem with my mk3 golf when I bought it and discovered(with the help of my haynes manual)that it was just a matter of replacing the dust and pollen filter and hey presto....heat!my question is where exactly do I locate the filter and what type should I buy to replace it with?
thanks a million for your reply guys,but I just discovered that there is'nt a cabin filter for my model,but from the photo above it seems you can gat a kit to fit one which I think would be a great investment,gonna check out that site.thanks again
yeah it's for a mk2 golf,looks pretty easy to fit aswell,better get my credit card out,although thats the least of my worries as my corrado just unloaded all of its oil contents on the way to my mechanic this morning,I'm lucky enough that he's garage is 5 mins from my place as if I had drivin any further the engine would have seized up.
